Old Town Memorize
After finishing an illustration project for a Shanghai real estate company. I decided to continue accomplishing some of the drafts which haven't been chosen officially, but I truly adore, as one of my personal projects.
Both the official and personal project aims to memorialize a historical town in Shanghai. It represents the most original, native customs of Shanghai. Unlike the well-known modernized Shanghai city, this old town is the place where time had been put on hold. It maintains old buildings, old alleys known as 'Longtang', even native residents are living in old life-styles. However, as the poor living conditions here and the development of the city. The old town might only live on in the memory of local citizens.
In this project, I combined charcoal hand drawing and digital painting techniques to express the comparison between old and modern. Big thank to AD Asoso for nice photos of the old town.

Dockless Bike Share：Every Coin Has Two Sides
Inspired by an article “THE BIKE SHARE WAR IS SHAKING UP SEATTLE LIKE NOWHERE ELSE” from Wired.com
“Seattle residents want access to bikes, that much is clear—but couldn't the bikes be just a little less annoying?” Dockless bike share program makes people’s life much easier. We could ride them from downtown to park, just for leisure. However, dockless bikes could be a sign of obstacle and hazard of daily life as well. This image describes a contradictory situation of dockless bike share.
